One of MacheteMail’s most exciting recent features is allows you to test two different versions of an emailer, and measure comparative success ratios. This great tool takes the guess work out of developing emailers that work for your subscriber base.
A/B split testing lets you experiment with different subject lines or content, so you know what will attract more opens and drive more clicks. In short, A/B testing chooses the most popular outcome, lets you know who the “winner” is and ultimately takes the gamble out of your email marketing campaign.
You simply select whether you want to do a subject or content test. Then select the percentage of your mailing list to receive your test. You decide how the winner will be determined, either via the most “opens” or the most “clicks”. Then launch your test immediately or schedule it for a future date.
We will then automatically send the “winning” newsletter to the remainder of your list. A/B split testing isn’t something you should do just once. It should be an integral part of your marketing efforts, so you can pick up on subscriber trends over time and in turn generate more powerful email marketing campaigns.
