1. clean up your lists by identifying incorrect of outdated email addresses

2. establish how many messages have been opened, clicked on and forwarded – and by whom!

3. help you work out your return on investment for each send if you are including direct sales messages

4. pick trends such as what days and at what times most of your readers are opening your emails

Statistics change constantly over the first few hours and even days, so best to have a thorough look at results only several days or even a week after sending – but don’t leave it too long: reports are removed from the system after a month. The best thing is to download and keep all relevant results as PDF files for future reference.
