MacheteMail now boasts a sophisticated automated send feature called TriggerMail. This offers users a far more flexible alternative to a simple auto-responder.

Why is it called TriggerMail? Simple. It requires a trigger, or a prompt, for your email to be sent. These triggers can either be link clicks, newsletter opens or even dates and times that you have set.  It’s autopilot for when you are on holiday!

A whole suite of categories for these automated TriggerMails has been created. These include scheduled sends, anniversary events such as birthdays, newsletter opens, link clicks, unsubscribe and subscribe confirmations.

You can send monthly invoices using the schedule sends options, use the anniversary triggers for birthday wishes and send subscribers a ‘Thank you’ when they have subscribed to a mailing list.

You can even use the feature to set RSVPs for a big event. We’ll automatically update your datasets with ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ RSVPs, provided you have set the it up in your account.
