Wow - what a heavyweight shoot-out! Pity these two couldn’t meet in the final! Difficult choice, but ultimately I’m going to give ESPN the EDGE (and not just because Bono does the soundtrack!). While acknowledging all sorts of burning environmental and political issues, this huge commercial creates wonderful celebration of the whole event. It’s truly global and not divisive the way the Nike commercial is - and anyway, almost all of their big stars stuffed up in the Cup.
